Enough travel talk and let’s get more down to business, which is where to go, what to see. Also known as “the practical side of things”. So we wanted to introduce to you, our favourite venues in Asia. Namely those located in China, the love of our life.
While sometimes there is plenty of controversy about the country, especially when it comes to Beijing. We don’t really care because they are very fun places, where you can enjoy the most fun nightlife we have ever experienced. And with the vast majority of places and shows being great it was not easy for us to choose where to start. So we went for the crowd pleaser, the one where you cannot go wrong.
In fact, it is the proud acrobatic show at the Chaoyang Theatre in Chaoyang district of Beijing. One of the oldest and most probably the most legend of all shows in the city. You must remember, that acrobatics is an ancient Chinese performing art. With roots to the times of the emperor. Expect in modern times, even you can now enjoy the same treatment as the emperor himself. Now available at the Beijing stage!
We fell in love with this acrobatic show originally on our travels many years ago. We saw the amazing bicycle trick, where a dozen or so absolutely beautiful women were balancing on top of a single bicycle. We thought to ourself, this is brilliant! The performance has it all, that you might require from a spectacle that’s developed for years and year. How many years exactly, we don’t know. Either way, it’s a crowd pleaser. You can get discount tickets as well so it’s not so heavy on your wallet.
We recommend the middle seats. The theatre is BIG, and with all the crowd around you the atmosphere will surely be as high as the roof. The stage is expressively decorated and flashes it’s pure skill right on top of you. The seats are a little bit below the stage to create that effect of pure “WOW!”.
So basically if you are with a girlfriend or your family, doesn’t matter. I have never met a person that didn’t like this acrobatic show and most likely never will. If you do decide to go and see it, leave a comment bellow. We would love to hear what you think about it!
You can catch the show at the Chaoyang Theatre, three times a day 15:50, 17:30 & 19:15! Just take a metro to 36 North East Third Ring Road, Chaoyang District.
